At the end of June, Tomasz Poloczek and Rafał Frączek spent their holiday in Romania and visited also Bucharest for a few days. They took my book with them, and it inspired them to create a series of black-and-white photographs.

I was genuinely surprised by their creativity and the imaginative way they reinterpreted the images, especially since neither of them has a background in the arts. Tomek works in IT, while Rafał is a physiotherapist.

Rafał is also a great admirer of Małgorzata Rejmer, who wrote the foreword to my book, which makes their participation in this project even more meaningful to me.
