Râsu'-plânsu' featured by Balkanism

My photobook Râsu'-plânsu' was recently featured on Balkanism's Instagram. Balkanism is a digital archival platform and publication focused on Balkan identity, history, culture, diaspora experiences, and social rights issues, working to promote education, cultural engagement, and interethnic solidarity across the region and its diaspora communities.

It feels fitting to have the book shared there - Râsu'-plânsu' documents how residents of Ceaușescu-era standardized apartment blocks in Romania personalized identical state housing, and Balkanism's focus on Balkan identity and lived history speaks directly to what the project is about.
