Drum Bun at Abuja Photo Festival

Happy to share that I will be exhibiting my project Drum Bun at this year’s 9th Abuja Photo Festival themed “A World Connected”.
My project embodies the ambivalence of roads. They connect us, yet they also dictate direction, speed and what we are allowed to see. Roads promise openness and accessibility, but in reality they are infrastructures of selectivity. They connect places but at the same time exclude everything outside their corridor.
