Joanna Tyczyńska is a photographer and editor. She studied journalism at the University of Warsaw and took part in the 3rd edition of the Jastrzębie School of Documentary Photography. Her career includes work as a photo editor, editor, and managing editor for interior design and travel monthlies, and she collaborated with, among others, Voyage and Podróże, where she published (together with her husband, Piotr Tyczyński) more than 100 features from around the world.

Working at the intersection of photography and text, Joanna pursues long-term personal projects and also creates collages. Her book "WYOJCOWANIE" grew out of one such project. She is co-founder and member of the DJAM Collective.

Joanna Tyczyńska is the winner of the Pix.house Talent of the Year 2025 award, in the ZinCall category.
