Christiane Marcour is a photographer based in the Cologne/Bonn area, working across fashion & art, documentary, and portrait photography.

Her journey into photography began during three years living in Shanghai, where she started photographing everyday life on the streets with her first camera. Immersed in a new cultural environment, she developed a heightened awareness of people, spaces, and the quiet details that often go unnoticed.

In March 2025, she completed her photography studies at the Cologne Academy of Photography, graduating with a diploma.

Christiane’s work moves between concept and intuition, combining clear visual ideas with an openness to experimentation. She enjoys the tension between planning and discovery: some images emerge exactly as envisioned, while others take an unexpected direction. Rather than choosing between control and spontaneity, she embraces both as essential parts of her creative process.
