Szymon Szewczyk (b. 1989) is an audiovisual artist, set designer, and graphic designer based in Poland. He is also the author of theatre music and runs the experimental electronic project DMKHV. He works across painting, objects, collage, and installation, and graduated from the Painting Faculty at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice.

His work explores the relationship between people and their material and cultural surroundings, along with less obvious connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena - conspiracy theories, improvised solutions, impermanence, cheap materials, DIY, information overload, dubious pseudo-scientific texts, dumb jokes, deadly seriousness, trash, imitation, disruptions, errors, invented rituals, tamed exoticism, and doubt about our tidy, ordered picture of the world. For him, art is a way of hunting for mismatches, disruptions, errors, and surprises within a world that looks, on the surface, orderly. (bielskoteatr-rozrywki)

His exhibitions include the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (as part of the Warszawa w Budowie festival, 2016), BWA Katowice, CSW Kronika in Bytomiu, Galeria Szara, Kasia Michalski Gallery in Warsaw, the State Art Gallery in Sopot, and Ronda Sztuki in Katowice.

As a set and costume designer, he has worked with several Polish theatres, including the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre and the Stary Theatre in Kraków, the Osterwa Theatre in Lublin, and the Silesian Theatre in Katowice, and he has composed music for a number of theatre productions. He received a 2019 Golden Mask award (together with Iga Słupska) for best stage design. (bielsko)
