One of my works will be presented as part of this year’s edition of Our Derek Jarman Garden -an ongoing, non-institutional initiative by Bogusław Bachorczyk at Czysta 15 street, active since 2018, and part of Krakers - Cracow Art Week. The space brings together contemporary art, nature, and quiet reflection, existing in striking contrast to the rapidly changing city around it.
Alongside works by Mateusz Gromadzki, Paweł Szeibel, Magda Dudek, Kacper Dworak, Magda Tryba, Jakub Wójcik, and Jakub Kużma, as well as projects by Trzycztery Theatre and a meeting with Michał Sobol, this year’s program continues to expand the garden’s unique ecosystem.
I’m also glad that my photographs will also be part of the revival of Czartak—a historically significant interwar literary magazine rooted in the Beskid Mountains—returning after 100 years in its 4th issue.
